1. Canon Boundary
The project is set in Strangereal and treats the following as fixed canon (sources in Canon Sources):
| Canon fact | Consequence for this project |
|---|---|
| Belkan War 1995; Ulysses impact 1999; Continental War 2003–2005; Circum-Pacific War 2010; Emmeria–Estovakia War 2015–2016; Lighthouse War 2019; Sotoa–Usea War 16 July 2029 – 3 August 2030; Intercorporate War 2040 | No other declared war exists between 2019 and July 2029. The 2028 period is a crisis of deniable, undeclared incidents, never a declared or world war. |
| Gründer Industries launched Z.O.E. in secret after 1995; it flew in the 1997–1998 Usean coup d'état and its ADF-01 FALKEN was shot down by Phoenix of Scarface Squadron over Fortress Intolerance on 18 September 1998 | Z.O.E. is the root of the MINOZIS lineage. |
| COFFIN (Connection For Flight Interface) was first fully enclosed on the ADF-01 FALKEN, controlled by eye movement and voice with no neural connection (the only input method until at least 2020); ENSI (Electro-Neuron-Synapse-Interface) is a standard General Resource developed in the 2020s | The MNZ-41's coupling is built on the ENSI standard, driven to an invasive depth the standard was never meant for. GR therefore has a direct technical stake in the result. |
| The first known combat flight of a COFFIN-type aircraft took place on 24 March 2030 near Cima Island | MINOZIS's combat record from 2025 to 2029 never becomes public. Every incident stays covered by the Agreed Fiction. |
| During the Lighthouse War (September 2019), Osea and Erusea destroyed each other's satellite networks, causing a worldwide blackout of satellite and information networks and chaos across Usea | This is "the 2019 blackout." Project choice: polar navigation was the last service rebuilt and was still incomplete in 2025. |
| The IUN began withdrawing peacekeepers from Usea in 2020 | The ISAF Revival Initiative fills part of that gap from 2025. |
| From March 2020, Sotoa used the conglomerate Enso Order as intermediary for infrastructure loans that became a debt trap over eastern Usea; Enso won exclusive control of eastern Usean space development (Comona space center) in November 2024 | Enso Order launches and owns MRS-144 Morgenstern. |
| On 14 February 2028 Sotoa staged a fake reactor accident at Rocky Island to hide construction of the Tonitrus Spear and two land battleships; the Tonitrus Satellite launched from Comona on 22 January 2029 as a "large space telescope" | The March 2029 dossier records these as anomalies, not as known weapons. |
| Darkness of Enigma (DOE) began in 2028. The wiki calls it a secret General Resource program, while its COFFIN and Enso Order pages say Enso started it with GR and former Gründer engineers and that GR inherited it from Enso in 2030. The X-40 Nightmare was developed under it before 2029. Rena Hirose joined in 2030 or 2031; first X-49 flight 21 July 2032; GR ended DOE in 2033 and its staff defected to Neucom | Project reading: in 2028–2029 DOE is run by GR with Enso participation, and characters know it only as GR's. GR's interest in MINOZIS is interest in DOE's interface problem. Rena Hirose never appears in this project. |
| Erusea privatized the EASA in the 2020s; its joint venture with a major airline became Neucom. Canon gives no incorporation year | "Neucom" is never named during the campaign (2025–2029). Before then: "the privatized EASA." |
| In 2026 the General Resource Defense Force destroyed a terrorist organization in Usea at the request of governments that had lost much of their power | GR is already a private security power in Usea while the squadron forms. |
| Enso Order was a DAO whose nodes could operate unaware of each other; it had facilities at Okchabursk among other sites by 2029; it dissolved on 31 August 2030 and GR inherited its Usean assets | Morgenstern can be one Enso node whose staff know nothing of Planning Division 303's war. Anything Enso owned, Morgenstern included, ends up with GR. |

4. Fixed Rules
- MINOZIS has no semantic layer. It cannot represent purpose, intention or meaning. Every behavior must be explicable as definition, cost function, or residue interference. It never "decides," "wants," "refuses," or "spares" in the narrative voice, except inside clearly marked rumor or characters' speech.
- Physics is the only thing it cannot redefine. Fuel, heat, radiation, mass and structure constrain it. Every physical act it performs has a physical mechanism (see MNZ-41 and COFFIN, ENSI and Wetware).
- No one is aboard. No human accomplice serves the aircraft. Maintenance is performed by the aircraft's own systems and by facility robotics it compromises.
- The residue cannot choose. Ghost Interference is correlated neural activity, not volition. Whether subjective experience persists is permanently Unknown.
- No missiles after 17 August 2028. After that date MINOZIS fights with its EMP/HPM emitter, its cannon, and cyber-kinetic methods only.
- "Let me go" was spoken at 14:22:26 UTC, eleven seconds before the fatal round, while MINOZIS held the controls. Its meaning (release of control, or release from life) is disputed in-world and never resolved by the narrative.
- The pistol is chambered and has never been confirmed to move. The wreck is never recovered within this project.
- The player never flies MINOZIS after the prologue. Free modes never unlock it.
- Enso Order's role in manipulating the Sotoa–Usea War is unknown to every character before its exposure in 2030. In 2029 Enso is publicly an infrastructure and aerospace conglomerate.
- POSTHUMUS is a Yuktobanian Internal Security designation, applied after the Ghost Interference transmissions of 2028. In-world speech uses MINOZIS for the system and POSTHUMUS for the platform as an operational threat.
